Product Evaluation

Based on the testing method (evaluated pre-post test and final product), I have fulfilled all of my design specifications therefore achieved my goal. According to both experts in the fields of Christianity and English, my products have fulfilled all of my 8 design specs as seen from the proof above. According to Pak Agung, a Christian expert, I got a higher score for my posttest compared to pretest (look at the proof shown below; pretest=5 and posttest=9), have include all the information researched into my final product and have printed it as a published book. According to Miss Terri, a Christian and English expert, I have printed my final product as a published book, have included all the information I researched on in my final product, have written the story with a good and understandable flow, plot line, grammar, spelling and sentence structure, while it also have shown a good progression of time and understanding.

Post Test on the 10th of Oct. '13 for 30 mins.

  1. What is your understanding about the sixth sense? (broad)
  2. What are the characteristics of those who possess sixth sense? (specific)
  3. Would people think the sixth sense as a blessing or a curse? (specific)
  4. What are the positive and negative effects for those who have the sixth sense? (specific)
  5. What do people who possess the sixth sense usually do with this capability (positive and/or negative)? (specific)
  6. Is there any possibilities for “all people” to have the sixth sense and how? (specific)
  7. Is there any such thing as “the sixth sense” in the Bible? Explain. (specific)
  8. What are the differences between general and Biblical understanding about the sixth sense? (specific)
  9. Is the ability to see the spirit a blessing or the opposite?
Post-test
1.    Through the research I did I understand that there are a lot of types under the broad sixth sense ability. Some of these types though are telekinesis where objects can be moved without any physical movements made, telepathy where people that who are far apart can communicate without the help of any devices, clairaudience where people can hear beyond what the normal ears can hear/can hear the subtle voices, clairsentience where people can sense (touch, hear, see, taste, smell) what the normal senses cannot, and clairvoyance where people can see images of things that are of a distance in the form of dreams, sudden vision when awake and more in the mind.
2.    The people who actually have sixth sense usually feel different about themselves and also secretive about their ability.
3.    People have their own perception about sixth sense however usually people think more to the negative side. However sixth sense is actually a blessing that is given from the Holy Spirit to human beings. Even though sixth sense can be considered as a blessing, there is another sixth sense that can be obtained from Satan. This sixth sense that is obtained from Satan can only be achieved by learning the ability without the use of Bible. The sixth sense that is offered by the Holy Spirit and Satan is of course different. The difference is that if God gives the gift, it comes along with the ability of differentiating/defining the spirits (knowing what the spirit seen is) however if Satan is the one who gives the gift, it does not goes along with anything else.
4.    The positive would be that they could be witnesses to more of God’s creations however the negatives would be of the fear that they should overcome in the beginning and also of fact that they are different from the others which they should accept.
5.    It really depends on the person. The people with the ability of seeing spirits that I interviewed are all Christians and from those interviews I can conclude that Christians usually use that ability as something to help them grow in God more because they can be witnessing what God calls as “devils” in the book of Bible, however some other Christians make more advantage of this ability by using it for ministries (e.g. when doing exorcisms).
6.    Through the research I did, it says that everybody actually has the ability to see spirits from when they are young. However because parents don’t develop this ability, instead they develop more on our 5th senses so that we can interact with the world around, our 6th sense slowly fades away. Even so, as I said before, there are always chances in which we can get the specific type of 6th sense of seeing spirits when we are older. The ways of getting it in the older age are by getting it from God (being a faithful servant and this ability will be given to you as a gift), or by doing it the wrong way which is by learning it without the use of Bible.
7.    The Bible didn’t specifically said “sixth sense” however the Bible does speak of sixth sense in other words which are discernment, words of knowledge, gift from God, etc. In Acts 10:1-8, it talks about Cornelius who used the ability of sixth sense (seeing spirits/clairsentience) to see the angel of God and do what He had instructed. In these verses I can learn that the Bible is actually accepting and encouraging of this type of sixth sense (if it is truly from God and is use for God only).
8.    The sixth sense is known as a negative ability in general however in the biblical understanding, it is a gift that is given from God that has to be respected.
9.    The ability to see the spirit can be a blessing or can be a gift from the Satan as explained above.

Reflection on Creating Phase VI

So on this last 2 weeks of the creating phase, I have finally finished my final product.

1. Do you follow your plan or specifications? Do you have to change your plan or specifications? Why?
Yes I did follow my specifications and my plan for this last 2 weeks. I didn't change any plan or specifications in these period of time because they are still achievable.

2. What have been the success and struggles? What could be done differently next time if I do it again or for the next steps?

Succeses:
- Finished on time
- Gave them all to the people who are going to test my product already and gave them a checklist to be able to test too
- Followed my plan throughout these last two weeks
- Did the best I could
- Think that my product meets all of my design specs

Struggles:
- Had to republish every single time I found a mistake, which I found a lot of times
- Didn't know until around last week that a proper bibliography for a website doesn't include its URL

Improvements:
- Be careful and recheck everything even though I think I know it for sure.

3. What's next? Do I need to change the next plan? Why? What should I prepare?
Next, I should wait and see for the result of my testing method. If I get that done then I should go and write my rough draft right away. I should prepare well, first my mentality so that I won't freak out too much, laptop, charger, all of my appendixes done, the testing method result and all of the other things needed for the draft's appendices.
