Reflection on Creating Phase II

 On the 21st of October, I did my creative writing journal outline and finished it. The reflection below is on what has been done so far on the 23rd of October.

1. Do you follow your plan or specifications? Do you have to change your plan or specifications? Why?
At this moment, I have made the outline of my creative writing journal. I've been following my plan and specifications and haven't need myself to change plan and specifications because I think they're still achievable.


2. What have been the success and struggles? What could be done differently next time if I do it again or for the next steps? 
The success was that I was able to finish the outline on time. On the 3rd week of this month, I was able to do that. The struggles that I faced were on making the plot line of the story and on making it realistic. Next time if I have the opportunity on doing this activity again, I would look for inspiration first before making the outline. By doing so, I would not waste that much time to think about the flow of the story.


3. What's next? Do I need to change the next plan? Why? What should I prepare? 
After this, I should prepare myself on writing the rough draft of my final product, as what is written in my plan. I should prepare my laptop, charger and outline.

Outline of Creative Writing Journal

Intro:

-       Who? An introvert girl named Emma who is in search of herself (her faith)

-       Time: 2012 (January – July)

-       Place:  America

-       Family:

o   Not so close

o   Selfish & sneaky – Business people

o   Somewhere she can find comfort on

Exposition:

-       Emma’s mom introduces her to a relative and explained that she has the ability of 6^th sense. At first Emma was just “Oh ok” but then she was triggered to think of what happened, why and how is she different?

-        

-       Triggered by: TV shows about it, family talking about relative that have it.

-       Problem: questions about the relation of her life to her religion. (controversies)

Rising Action:

-       Begin to look up things about the sixth sense during spare time at school and at home

-       Someone saw her looking it up

-       People disapproving her because of it (friends, seniors-ish, teachers)

-       She had a hard time dealing with people around her at school

-       Talks about how religion connects to daily life with family, family just said don’t ask me I’m not an expert on this

Climax:

-       On weekends, she just can’t stand knowing if the situation gets better at school

-       it reached the moment where she felt so unappreciated, useless and alone (less cheerful day by day)

-       Night before her birthday: dreamt of being haunted

-       On her birthday: She can’t get her mind off the bad feelings

-       got sick several times

Falling Action:

-       There came someone who saw this and said that’s really fine to question about things like that

-       The person introduced Emma to a preacher who explained the questions that she had about sixth sense

Resolution:

-       She learned that nothing is actually controversial with religion

Conclusion:

-       Questions about something else or just question on how people can disbelieve God?

-       She became closer to her family, as she finds most comfort there even though they don’t give them comfort
