Internet Research on the 18th of July '12

3 things I understood:
- Should be written every time I did a research related activity
- Improve weak skills (reading, writing, organization and neatness) by reading, practice handwriting, and practice classifying, sorting and planning
- Can include anything that I think might be useful

2 things I am not sure about:
- If I'm using the Macjournal software to make my research journal because one of the skills that is written to be able to make a good research journal is to have a good understanding of the software used
- How to arrange and what to put in the research journal

1 thing I need to research more:
- How to use the research journal

Personal Reflection on the 16th of July '12

3 things I understood well:
- My skills that I should improve are reading, organization, neatness, and writing.
- The skills I am good at are keyboarding, critical thinking, research, & reflection.
- -

2 things I am unsure about:
- If my skill of knowledge of the program are good/should be improved
- -

1 thing I have to research more:
- How to improve my weak skills

Interview via Email on the 15th of July '12

3 things I understood well:
- The interviewee misunderstood the term "research journal" to this journal blog but she said the only difference between the research journal she misunderstood it to with the research journal I meant (my final product) is the structure
- Should end the research journal with a reflective summary which probably should be longer than any of the summaries in the entries
- The skills needed to make a good research journal are critical thinking, research, reading, writing, reflection, organization, keyboarding, knowledge on the program used, and neatness.

2 things I am not sure about:
- How to arrange the research journal
- If there should be a reflection on the research process

1 thing I have to research more:
- What are my weak skills

Interview via Email on the 14th of July '12

3 things I understood well:
- End a research journal by summarizing what I've learned from the research
- The original question of the research journal is the Inquiry Question from Appendix 8
- The questions I am actually researching are the other questions (not the original question) which will allow myself to find the information I need to achieve my goal

2 things I am not really sure about:
- The skills needed to make a good research journal
- The placement and time of some elements (When and where to reflect in the journal, & if research notes should be included in a research journal or not)

1 thing I don't understand:
- The software that will most be compatible to me, as the skills needed to make a good research journal are discovered to be slightly different than what I found previously

Interview via Email on the 12th of July '12

3 things I understood well:
- The mandatory elements in a research journal entry are a question to research on, research notes (even though it's still under question because in the previous websites I researched on it says that research notes shouldn't be included in a research journal), reflection, bibliography, and another question that comes up from the research (even though it doesn't have to come up in a planned timing).
- The language of a research journal is situational
- A research journal should not include abbreviated and unnecessary words. It should be to the point.

2 things I am unsure about:
- If research notes should be included in a research journal
- How to end a research journal if it's arranged by questions

1 thing I don't understand/have to research more:
- When I should do a reflection (after a question is answered or when I'm done with a research)

Interview via Email on the 28th of June '12

3 things that I understood well:
- Start a research journal by writing down a brief introduction of my research and a question then continue modifying the journal every time I do a research
- A research journal can be written and include anything that the writer thinks might be useful when writing the report later on
- A research journal should be well organized, clear and easy to read, and always being added to until a final answer to the original question is found

2 things that I am unsure about:
- What are the mandatory elements in a research journal entry
- If the reflection should be written after every research done or after a question has been answered

1 thing I don't understand/have to research more about:
- How a research journal should end

Interview via Email on the 23rd of June '12

3 things I have understood well:
- A journal is a record of anything that is kept in a timeline fashion
- A research journal should include questions that keeps on going, bibliography, date, reflection (personal thoughts about the answer to the question obtained from the research, and reflection of how to research is done)
- The skills needed to make a good research journal are summary skill, reading and writing, keyboarding, and understanding of the program used, if the journal is handwritten then a good penmanship is also needed

2 things I am not sure about:
- What should be included in a research journal (e.g. research notes, how about keywords, difficulties faced during the research, plan on how to do the next research?)
- When I should write my research journal

1 thing I don't understand/have to research more about:
- What are the specifications of a good research journal
